JJ Bean is very proud to announce the opening of its 10th café, at Alberni & Bute in Vancouver. Located in a bustling, newly-developed area of downtown, our newest café is ready to serve some great coffee!
JJ Bean began 14 years ago as a small roasting kiosk in the Granville Island Public Market. Soon afterwards, an expanded roasting facility was opened at Powell & Victoria, on Vancouver's east side, followed by our first full-scale café on Commercial Drive. Over the past six years, JJ Bean has opened several new cafés in various neighbourhoods around the city, including Main St., North Vancouver, Yaletown, and a bakery café on Railway St. Over the past year, we have opened additional stores in and around Vancouver's downtown, including a café in the newly redeveloped Woodward's District, a coffee stand at the plaza of the CBC's headquarters on Hamilton St. downtown, and our newest café on Alberni St.
We pride ourselves in the design of our cafés, making sure each space matches the "vibe" of the neighbourhood surrounding it. Our Alberni store is perhaps our most visualy stunning café, featuring a mezzanine seating area overlooking the bar, and a large patio area.
