The Long-Awaited El Injerto
NEW RESERVES: KENYA & GUATEMALA
We admit that we're pretty passionate about coffee. New crops come in and we feel like it's Christmas again and again. Some new coffees, however, have an even more special place in our heart. The El Injerto Pacamara from Guatemala is precisely one of these coffees. We were fortunate enough to secure 10 sacks when our owner JJ was in Guatemala last year, and we've been looking forward to it ever since. The El Injerto farm has won Cup of Excellence awards for nearly a decade and this coffee is no exception to their standard of incredible coffee.

El Injerto, Pacamara, Guatemala: Astonishingly sweet and complex with a creamy mouthfeel. Predominant notes of peachy stone fruit are accompanied by an ever-developing array of flavours.
We're also excited to announce a new Kenyan Peaberry from the Guama Mill.
Guama Mill, Peaberry, Kenya: A powerfully pointed and intensely dry acidity takes centre stage, accompanied by subtle aromas of rhubarb, dark berry and clove.
The Puerta Verde, Antigua, Guatemala and the Kagunyu Peaberry, Kenya are now out of stock.

CUPPING TABLE: EL SALVADOR
Because of the huge success of both our single-origin Brazil Carmo Espresso and Costa Rica Zamorana Espresso, we plan on following up those two with a single-origin espresso in the fall. Look for that in our hoppers every Friday towards the end of September as well as for Retail and Wholesale purchasing.
We are also very excited about another Kenyan coffee coming down the pipe in the next few weeks. Those who look forward to the large currant and red wine flavours of Kenyan coffee should be very excited to see this arrive to shelves mid-September as well.
