Located in Toronto’s financial district two blocks south of Nathan Phillip’s Square, JJ Adelaide is PATH connected, close to Osgoode, King, and St. Andrew TTC Subway Stations, Union Station, and GO Transit services at the intersection of York Avenue & Adelaide Street West.
JJ Bartley is our first Toronto café and also serves as our Toronto roastery, commissary bakery, and cupping room. As our first café outside greater Vancouver, Bartley is a special place for us — come say hello, taste our traditional cappuccino, and enjoy one of our delicious baked treats.
Located a block away from Toronto Old City Hall and Nathan Philips Square, in the lobby of 390 Bay St., our newest addition to the JJ family is set to open Monday, May 6. We couldn’t be more excited to bring our house-made baking and freshly roasted specialty coffee to the area.
Help us christen JJ Bay with our week-long Grand Opening celebrations, May 13th – 17th. See you soon!
JJ Eglinton is located just east of uptown Toronto’s vibrant Yonge & Eglinton intersection. Inspired by the history of Eglinton through John Montgomery’s tavern and Scottish pubs, our Eglinton café features gorgeous dark wood, tufted leather benches, and brass accents plus a patio surrounded by greenery. Fancy a pint of dark roast?
JJ St. Clair welcomes you home at Yonge & St. Clair with a warm vibe and an impressive slate-styled arched roof that hangs over the espresso bar inspired by the homes of Toronto’s Deer Park neighbourhood. Ideally located on the corner from TTC St. Clair subway station and 512 streetcar line.
They call it ‘Big Bend’ because it’s ahead of the curve… actually, that’s not why, but it IS ahead of the curve in that it’s rare to find amazing coffee and fresh baking in a predominantly industrial area. This is our HQ for retail and the place where all of our baked delicacies start.
JJ Big Bend doesn’t have seating in-store just yet, but please join us for to-go everything, or hang out and enjoy your order at our beautiful standing bar table.
Commercial Drive has an eclectic and cozy atmosphere. This café is the perfect place to warm up with a hot drink on a cold day, with the perfect patio to cool off in summer. The neighbourhood is cultured, vibrant, and full of creativity—and the atmosphere at JJ Commercial is no different.
Our first retail cafe, which opened alongside our Powell roastery, JJ Bean in Granville Island Public Market is all about coffee. All the espresso drinks, freshly brewed coffee, and whole beans you crave are available (but sadly none of our amazing food). This is a favourite stop for Vancouverites and tourists alike.
The Marine Building is one of the oldest and most beautiful towers in downtown Vancouver, and we are proud to call it our home. JJ Marine features a mezzanine floor for extra privacy and comfort, and a design that combines the building’s art deco aesthetic with a modern West Coast café look. This location offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
Our first café across the bridge boasts everything North Vancouver has to offer: a view of the mountains, a beautiful garden adjacent, and the friendliest staff you could ask for. With a very West Coast interior including a fireplace and private conference room, JJ Park & Tilford is a warm retreat from the rain. This location offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
This bustling little shop in Port Town is also our wholesale HQ and Vancouver roastery. JJ Powell is our first location, opening alongside our Granville Island Market cafe in 1996, and features a collection of vintage, antique paraphernalia that pays homage to the history of coffee.
Railtown: One of the creative and industrial hubs of the city. Amidst all of this creation, there sits a cozy minimalist café where the staff love to chat up the locals and first-timers—it was also home to our first commissary bakery. JJ Railway offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
Our café on campus is perfectly suited to student life, enabling casual conversations, intimate discussions, and group meetings. The wood enclosed stairs lead to a wide variety of seating experiences, and the iconic lighting installation has to be seen to be believed – viewing it from below reveals “UBC” while observing it straight-on from the second-floor spells “JJB”. This location offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
