Our newest addition to the JJ Toronto family, JJ Bay can be found a block away from Old City Hall and Nathan Philips Square, in the lobby of 390 Bay Street.
The space features gorgeous glass and white oak detailing throughout, with a stunning marbled stone countertop that climbs the space to form the wall of the top floor mezzanine. We love our new beautiful bae, and think you will too.
JJ Eglinton is located just east of uptown Toronto’s vibrant Yonge & Eglinton intersection. Inspired by the history of Eglinton through John Montgomery’s tavern and Scottish pubs, our Eglinton café features gorgeous dark wood, tufted leather benches, and brass accents plus a patio surrounded by greenery. Fancy a pint of dark roast?
JJ St. Clair welcomes you home at Yonge & St. Clair with a warm vibe and an impressive slate-styled arched roof that hangs over the espresso bar inspired by the homes of Toronto’s Deer Park neighbourhood. Ideally located on the corner from TTC St. Clair subway station and 512 streetcar line.
They call it ‘Big Bend’ because it’s ahead of the curve… actually, that’s not why, but it IS ahead of the curve in that it’s rare to find amazing coffee and fresh baking in a predominantly industrial area. This is our HQ for retail and the place where all of our baked delicacies start.
And yes, for those of you wondering if the rumours are true, JJ Big Bend now has tables and chairs!
Commercial Drive has an eclectic and cozy atmosphere. This café is the perfect place to warm up with a hot drink on a cold day, with the perfect patio to cool off in summer. The neighbourhood is cultured, vibrant, and full of creativity—and the atmosphere at JJ Commercial is no different.
Our first retail cafe, which opened alongside our Powell roastery, JJ Bean in Granville Island Public Market is all about coffee. All the espresso drinks, freshly brewed coffee, and whole beans you crave are available (but sadly none of our amazing food). This is a favourite stop for Vancouverites and tourists alike.
JJ MacKenzie is our newest addition to the JJ family, having opened its doors October 1st.
Located in the heart of Kitsilano at Broadway & MacKenzie, this is our first location designed by the incomparable Sophie Burke Design. The café is filled with beautiful wide-plank wood and soft light throughout.
Unwind and enjoy some freshly roasted coffee and house-made baking in this warm inviting space.
The Marine Building is one of the oldest and most beautiful towers in downtown Vancouver, and we are proud to call it our home. JJ Marine features a mezzanine floor for extra privacy and comfort, and a design that combines the building’s art deco aesthetic with a modern West Coast café look. This location offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
Our first café across the bridge boasts everything North Vancouver has to offer: a view of the mountains, a beautiful garden adjacent, and the friendliest staff you could ask for. With a very West Coast interior including a fireplace and private conference room, JJ Park & Tilford is a warm retreat from the rain. This location offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
This bustling little shop in Port Town is also our wholesale HQ and Vancouver roastery. JJ Powell is our first location, opening alongside our Granville Island Market cafe in 1996, and features a collection of vintage, antique paraphernalia that pays homage to the history of coffee.
Our café on campus is perfectly suited to student life, enabling casual conversations, intimate discussions, and group meetings. The wood enclosed stairs lead to a wide variety of seating experiences, and the iconic lighting installation has to be seen to be believed – viewing it from below reveals “UBC” while observing it straight-on from the second-floor spells “JJB”. This location offers our gluten-free friendly vegan and vegetarian soups.
A hidden gem of community in the tech district of Yaletown. Our spirited baristas want to learn your name and make you a delicious coffee, whether you’re on your way to work, or just strolling past the neighbourhood’s historic warehouses. We’re family behind the bar, and we hope to make you feel at home with a ’spro, freshly baked croissant, or house-made wrap.
